I don't care for Harang, but Pence is worth it, in case Harang gets hot.

I agree that Harang isn't worth much, but I'd rather have Holliday than Pence at this point.

Even if Holliday isn't traded, he has at least as much upside as Pence and he's likely to steal a few more bases. Since SBs seem to be one of the few weaknesses of your offense, it doesn't make much sense to take a slight downgrade in that category.

I'd stay put.

i would not give up on holliday so soon. however if u really need pitching at least get someone better than harang. how about scherzer?

I'd pass on this. Pence is still on pace for a similar season as Holliday, all things being equal. FWIW, I wasn't buying into a Harang bounceback into the season (basically saying that '06 and '07 were his peaks) and I don't see him being the sweetener to take the deal. Gamble on Holliday being dealt at or before the deadline.
