Please answer this one guys I think its pretty interesting question
So how much weight if any would you put into Vegas odds for your pitchers matchups? If a pitcher for your team is favored in Vegas with a decent over under line where it looks like Vegas who some how knows all thinks you will be winning with a decently low score do you value that at all.
Here is my example... The Reds are favored at a line of -115 against the Brewers with an over under of 9. Meaning Vegas thinks the score will end somewhat around 5-4 with the Reds winning. 4 Runs over 9 innings would most likely give Homer Bailey a quality start 6 innings 3 runs with the pen going 3 and giving up one. With that being said do you start bailey today against the brew crew? Or is it all random bull shit

or bailey could give up 5 runs in two innings, gets pulled and the pen shuts them out the rest of the way
I wouldn't base too much on totals, maybe the side if it doesn't sit right - even then it's still a crapshoot
