I've been offered a Trade - Advice Please - 100% WHIR

H2H - standard points league
Been looking for SP's and throwing out trade after trade - only able to pick up Volquez and BRaden in small deals, the rest getting rejected (tho they have been fair offers)

anyway, I've been offered Matt Holliday, Aubrey Huff
and John Lackey
FOR MY
Joba Chamberlain, Adam Jones and Pablo
Sandoval.

LAckey is one SP I've been after and I had also wanted Holliday (even tho I have a crowded OF - get him cheap) -
I have no problem giving up Joba and Jones I see as having an average 2H. The one I worry parting with is Sandoval. I had originally offered Alexi Ramirez in a similar deal, but I really don't want to part with Panda. I think he will continue to kill it, but I could use some good SP.
Cantu and Rolen are on the WW to fill in, not terrible and the rest of my line up is strong. Panda was a WW pickup so I like the idea of turning it into LAckey.

Advice/Insight/Thoughts?
Thanks and I will 100% WHIR

I too like Lackey's upside in the 2nd half, but I think you're giving up a little too much to get him. I do like that you'd be getting rid of Joba, but I'd look to see if he'd take someone else instead of Sandoval...or just see if you can leave Sandoval and Huff out of the trade completely. If it means taking someone other than Holliday, who you don't need, so be it.

ugh, Cantu just got picked up - he would've replaced Sandoval at 3B - not sure I want to do this now.

the slight chance u would do this deal is really killed with that pick up. WHat are teh categories? it is is not power heavy hr, tb, and more toward average hitters average, strikeouts....etc rolen is not a bad pickup. I would pass on the deal though.

Its points

so HR = 4
3B = 3
2b, SB = 2
1B, BB, R = 1

I could still pick up IAn Stewart i think he might have a decent 2H or Beckham - possible that he could be something - Rolen not really an option, imo...

Try moving Jones+Joba for Lackey. I don't see the need to pick up Holliday.

There is a chance Joba could go into the bullpen thus killing his value. Monitor that situation very closely. However if he remains a starter I would NOT make this trade, I don't like Lackey this year and Holliday was very overrated when he played in Colorado, don't expect to see those numbers again.

Help with mine?

Your right, I don't need Holliday - he does not want to do 2 for 1 trades, since he has no room on his roster to drop anyone.

I want him to make Lackey into Lester, but doubt that. Gonna try Adam Jones for Lackey SU.

Thanks for the help and any other insight is much appreciated
