I play in a 10 team, 5x5, rotisserie dynasty league with a $100,000,000 cap per team. I want to calculate the earnings of players to date, and for the counting categories I have decided to divide $100,000,000 by the total number of HR from each team to get the value of each HR. I can repeat this for each counting category, but I got stuck when I got to batting average. I could not determine how to calculate the value of a batting average when there are two factors involved, the number of hits for each player and the number of AB. A player with a batting average of .310 over 200 AB would be more valuable than an average of .310 over 150 AB, but how can I quantify that? I would do the same for ERA and WHIP but I can take that step once I figure this out. Does anyone have any suggestions, or an idea of a better way to calculate values?
