Talk Me Out of (or Into) This David Wright Trade. WHIR

This deal is on the table. I'm dead last in batting average that's why I'm considering it. Thoughts? Should I do it?

Keep in mind this is a 3 player keeper league. Right now my keepers would be Sizemore, Longoria and probably Greinke.

GIVE - Sizemore/Gallardo
GET - Wright/Victorino

RP-Broxton, Lidge, Qualls, Nunez

It is an ok deal. You are giving up a decent amount for Wright in which you already have a top 3B. I think this deal might hurt your SP more than you want. Tough one but I think I stick with what you have already got and look for another deal else where.

It's close, but I just dont like it. You'd be selling low on Sizemore and losing a lot of power. Gallardo has been great and is still only 23, so an even bigger breakout isn't out of the question. As a Mets fan, I'm pretty concerned about Wright and the lack of power. Even his BA is going to come down, since his over .400 babip is historically unsustainable.

It's a toss up for me. Wright/Sizemore is a wash for me except for the fact you already have a pretty good 3B and a fairly weak OF. I feel like Gallardo has more value than Victorino but there is speculation of Gallardo being shut down early due to the amount of innings he's been pitching.

The riskier but most potential pairing is Gallardo/Sizemore

The less risky but less rewarding pairing is Wright/Victorino.

You've got a pretty damn good pitching staff though... Really tough call for me to make.

I like the wright and victorino side. having both wright and longoria with 3b so shallow is a huge advantage for future trades, and victorino is a solid number 2 outfielder.

plus in roto, the loss of gallardo doesn't hurt as bad because you can mix and match your starts. greinke, lester, lilly and danks is not shabby anyways. and nolasco has looked good the last month.

I think you need Gallardo though b/c of your pitching, so I would pass...For your NEEDS I don't think it fits...Value wise, I like the DWright side of the deal..

Anyone else? I'm actually doing quite well in the pitching stats. And I just traded for Lester (haven't even started him yet).

Losing Gallardo would be a tough hit to the pitching staff. I would counter offer with Danks in the deal rather than Gallardo.
