I just wanted to know how people project these 2 players, I could have posted 2 different ones and im sure there would have been no complaints but i thought I would make it easier and put it in 1 thread. Im not trying to make this a question of which should I get or anything. I just want to know what you guys think of these 2 players. Nothing unreasonable about that for the Leftovers section.

The problem is not posting the thread asking about two players. It's not even about these specific players as it's a reasonable question how well they'll do or who you like better.

The issue is saying Damon is having a sub par year. I don't think so, and I'm not sure how you worked that out. You're just getting called on the statement is all. Not a big deal. ;-D

I like Kubel and had him on my team, especially if you can play the matchups. I can't say I prefer either one as both miss time, but either would be fine on my roster. Not sure I expect this many HRs from Damon in the second half, but maybe the new stadium is built for him (985 OPS at home).

I always thought Damon was better than this though.

Kubel is still a part time player since he still sits against most lefties. Personally I think Damon is better since he's an everyday player and he'll contribute in all 5 categories. From this point of the season I think Damon will hit for a higher BA than Kubel so the only categories that I see Kubel better in is HR/RBI and Damon isn't far behind.

You thought wrong. As others have said, this is shaping up to be the finest offensive season of Damon's career if he can come close to continuing on his current pace in the second half.
