beckett, felix, cano and teixera for pujols and utley.WHIR

Alright this is actually a 3 team trade I'm working on in secret, but here it goes.... 10 Team mixed league H2H standard rules


I was offered Utley and Garza for Felix and Beckett. I am not a fan of this trade, but I know another guy who has Pujols that needs major help in second base.

He might bite on a Cano and Teixera trade for Pujols.

So essentially I get a huge upgrade at second base, a pretty good upgrade at first base. and I essentially lose my two best pitchers BUT... I have a killer pitching staff:

Felix
Beckett
Cain
Billingsley
Lackey
Nolasco
Kershaw
Verlander

What do you think?

Is this trade worth it or am I giving up too much pitching for this upgrade in my lineup?

What if the 2nd guy says no? You have two 2B and you lose quite a bit of pitching...

Well the utley trade was proposed to me. So I won't accept it until the cano/teixera trade is accepted.

Before I go ahead and make this trade offer, I'm going to wait for a few more opinions.

this is very very close of a trade... iw ould pull the trigger because i think Pujols/Utley has a little bit more value and your staff is already so good. in addition to that you get the top 2 players in the deal.

Just talk to the guy who has pujols make sure he wants to do the deal.. i think you are going about it the right way. if he trades you pujols then grab utley and you will have a killer lineup.

if you can get the Pujols part done, then go for it on the rest. worth it IMO and you can always get another pitcher in a deal somehow if you find the need.

Bump!! I've offered Cano and Teixera for Pujols. If that trade is accepted, then I'll immediately accept the trade for Utley.

I forgot to mention I also have Jon Lester on my team too.

Basically I have 9 top 30 pitchers, pretty deep in starting pitching. This trade will also open up another spot on my roster for spot starts or a closer.

(I've also got Peavy on my DL right now, although I have no faith in him doing much for me come playoff time)

You've got an awesome pitching staff so you can afford to do this deal. Pujols and Utley are 2 of the 3 best players in that deal. I think you win it.

if you cant get Pujols then I say no, Utley typically doesnt have good numbers in the 2nd half of the season. I would make sure you can get Pujols first befoe pulling the trigger on this deal.
