I'm sick and tired of every single one of my SP stinking it up from week to week. I emailed an owner and asked who he would like for Dan Haren (his team is in last place) and he said either Hawpe or Ethier and a SP. Do you see a good combination that could get a deal done? Hawpe/Lee? Ethier/Hamels?

I just dont see Haren having the same 2nd half as he did first half, but i feel the same way about Hawpe..
Last year and in the begining of this year Ethier was great in front of Manny, so as long as he doesnt test positive again ethier i think is coming up... i would try hawpe and your worst starter for him, but dont give up to much.. Haren is on a terrible A's team that might be giving Holliday up for prospects which will hurt his run support even more and we already know how little they have.

Haren is on the D'Backs, not the As, but of course they suck too, so no biggie.
I'd trade Hawpe and one of Liriano/Kaz/Harang for Haren. I would't give up on Hamels just yet. If it's a dealbreaker, I'd do Ethier instead of Hawpe, but I'd prefer to give up Hawpe. Either way, you come out on top by getting the best player in the deal.
Hawpe and Kazmir maybe, if he wants a better pitcher, then I'd offer Harang, I think Hamels and Liriano will rebound. I like a deal for Haren, but there is a lot of concern around fantasy baseball about Haren under-performing in the second half. He pitches for a crappy team with no run support in a hitters ballpark, and he's been known for the last few years of having an era that jumps a couple points in the second half (something like 4.2 era in the second half over the last 3 years).
But this is baseball, and anything is possible. Haren has proven his stuff so far with a stellar first half, and there is nothing but previous year stats to say he won't have a stellar second half, and past performance doesn't always mean he repeats it.
I'd do the deal in a heartbeat. Even with a likely regression, Haren is still a top 10 starter.... the same cannot nearly be said of Hawpe or Ethier at their position.
