Selig should allow Bonds to come back and do the HR derby.

I think this is the first time I've ever watched the whole thing.

Yep, best hitter in baseball (Pujols), best young power hitter in baseball (Fielder), biggest power hitter in recent memory (Howard), best catcher we've seen in a dozen years (Mauer), etc. This was just a terrible class. Last year was much worse than this year other than the show that Hamilton gave.

Agreed. This years field was certainly no weaker than any of the previous four or five I've seen. Brandon Inge shouldn't have been there but often you've got a battler making up the numbers. I remember seeing guys like Damian Easley, Ray Lankford, Vinny Castilla, BJ Surhoff, John Jaha, Bret Boone and Hee-Seop Choi there over the past decade.

On a side note: I can't believe how dead this site is these days. This same thread got at least 20 pages last year.

I agree...I kind of liked the field (I figured Pujols, Howard, Fielder, Mauer, and Cruz had some potential to hit major home runs). But having Barry in there over Brandon Inge (or any HR hitter) would have been nice. :-D

I don't think fantasy baseball is any less popular than it was a few years ago. People must just be going elsewhere for their information. The amount of team blogs has definitely grown (where people probably go for game commentary).

Pujols totally got help even making it past the first round.

That kid made a great snag in right-center. Home field advantage! :-D ;-D

Everyone of Pujols HR seemed to barely get out. Maybe flying in at 2 in the morning the night before wasn't a good idea.
