When I was a kid, my family vacationed in the Finger Lakes area of upstate NY. We used to go see the Auburn Doubledays of the Single A NY-Penn League several times per homestand. Manny Acta was the manager, and was a great guy. He used to hang out by the stands and chat with us kids before and after every game. So I'll always have a soft spot for the guy.
