whats your thoughts? some ppl thought he was just really lucky so far, but now with an injured pitching arm that could make it worse.

and i wanted to trade hawpe/lester for cain/price/victorino too

My guess is he has an ERA around 3.70 and people say it is because of the injury even though he pitches the exact same as in the first half outside of the lucky LOB%.

I think he has an ERA just over a 3 with 7 or 8 wins. His numbers aren't a fluke for ERA and WHIP he has always had the stuff and right on the border but unless the giants get a couple of bats i don't see 20 wins. Probably not a trade high now with the arm injury i imagine unless he comes back and throws a really good game on Sunday.

I'm not worried about the arm injury... He'll have had a week off and professional sports trainers can do amazing things in a week. Plus he's young and able to heal quickly. Only reason he'd do worse the 2nd half would be because he's not as lucky.
