Washington - Houston suspended game

Have a question as to how last nights completion of the Washington/Houston suspended game from last May is typically handled. In our league we have had trades in recent weeks that sent Nick Johnson and C. Guzman to ownere that are different than those that owned those players back in May. The new owner of Johnson is insisting that all stats for that suspended game that was completed yesterday should go to him because the game was not official till now. I say that only the stats from players playing yesterday and only those stats from yesterday would go to the new owners if in fact theste players had played (which neither did). Did not all of the stats from May actually go to the players at that time even though the game was listed as suspended?

This is one of those situations where you default to your host sites rules. There is already a policy in place, and far too late to change it now.
