How bad is this trade?!?!?

Postby AnddWon » Fri Jul 10, 2009 10:27 am

The league is deep. (12, 30-man teams) and we keep a ton of players (10).

I inherited this team and it's in second to last. I'd like to get some young talent so that eventually my team will succeed. I really like McCutcheon, is this trade terrible?

My: Dan Haren

for

His: Cole Hamels, Andrew McCutcheon

Yea, thats a good trade, once Mckutchen approaches a contract he will be traded to a real team like the Pirates have to do with every player worth a lick

If you can get that deal, I would definitely do that. Hamels has kind of had an up and down season this year, but he will settle in as one of the best NL pitchers for years to come.
