So the Natinals just won a suspended game over the Astros in extra innings in which Joel Hanrahan was the winning pitcher for the Nats. Only problem is Hanrahan is now a Pirate, not a Nat. The Natinals are so bad they have to have pitchers on other teams win games for them

the winning run was scored by Morgan, who was pinch running for Elijah Dukes who is now in the minors.

lol i wish i saw the boxscore because yahoo let me plug hawkins into the lineup few minutes before tonight's game, i hope i don't get credit with his L earlier in the day.

does it matter? or will it count only if i had him in the lineup on the original day of the game?

ok this whole situation got me thinking, Hanrahan was traded to Pittsburgh as the pitcher of record, but what if he had been traded to the Astros, think about this and try and figure out what the baseball rule on this would be

imagine if you will, the Astros decide to use Hanrahan to start that game yesterday, and he gave up the winning run.

He would then be the winning and losing pitcher. What would baseball do? I hope to see this at some point in my life, cause I am pretty sure its never happened.
