I am in a 12 team roto league and I am currently 6 i think but was holding strong at 3rd for a long time and can easily get back to that point with a few solid days of stats. Anyways someone offered me Matt Kemp for Yovani Gallardo. I dont know enough about matt kemp and his stats do look decent and hes ranked 26 currently. I am a big fan of gallardo and his stats a decent with a few rough outings. I was thinking about offering Jair Jurrjens for Kemp but have a feeling that would get rejected. I already have alot of outfielders anyways. Any help thanks.
My team:
C-Kurt Suzuki 1B-Carlos Pena 2B-Felipe Lopez SS-Stephen Drew 3B-Miguel Cabrera OF-Matt Holliday OF-Tori Hunter OF-Adam Dunn Util-Carlos Lee BN-Mike Napoli BN-Colby Rasmus BN-Bonifacio BN-Denard Span
I wouldn't do that trade. Gallardo has more value to your team then Kemp, and besides, I don't see how Kemp would improve your team since you would end up having to bench a solid player (Holliday, Hunter, Dunn, or Lee). If you were committed to trading for Kemp, then I would try to do something like Gallardo and Holliday/Hunter/Dunn/Lee for Kemp and a SP, but I don't think I'd trade Gallardo if I were you. He's young, he's pitching well and is in a very weak division for the most part.
Yeah, it would be nice to play Matt Kemp until Holliday starts to hit better and I usually would say do it because I value hitters so much more...But, I'm gonna have to say keep Gallardo for the same reason as the reply above. He's solid and I don't see him losing ground anytime soon. You have a nice team with a lot of players that I think will turn it up 2nd half.

Your pitching needs to keep Gallardo more than your offence needs Kemp.
I would offer him Jurrjens/Dunn for Kemp and see if he bites at that.
Would be a huge upgrade to your OF as Kemp is a stud. Could easily be a top 20 player by year end IMO if he starts hitting in the right spot in the Dodger lineup.
i'd stay put, you need gallardo more than a good outfielder. I'd rather see you offer gallardo and pena for morneau and a pitcher like zambrano, volstad or wolf. or try gallardo, drew and dunn for rollins, kemp and one of the pitchers mentioned above.
