Do I do this deal or do I improve my pitching elsewhere?

I get: McClouth, R.Halladay, Kouzmanoff, Volstad

I would stay away from this trade. Look at the last 3 starts for Halladay as well as how he performed today. His last 3 starts he is 0-1 with 5 BB, 19 Hits, and a 4.50 ERA. Today he threw 120 pitches in 7 innings, 9 Hits and 3 ER for a loss. These are not typical Halladay numbers.

Since you are in a keeper league, hanson and beckham are good prospects to have. Also, I don't know if your league values K's, but Vazquez only has 5 fewer K's up to this point than Hally, has given up slightly less hits and has a slightly lower WHIP. I'm not suggesting that Vazquez = Halladay, but as of right now things aren't looking too good with Hally.

I might do this -- I need the pitching help and it seems many actually prefer McClouth over Granderson.

Anyone want to talk me out of this it give it their blessing?

you do this trade, if you can get roy in any shape or form you do it imo. He is the pujols of pitching.
