Trade for Nate McLouth WHIR

Postby Hammers » Thu Jul 09, 2009 5:17 pm

Hey Everyone,

I am trying to make a push to place in the top 3 in my league. I was offered Nate McLouth For my 6th round draft pick and Michael Cuddyer. This is a salary keeper league and our scoring system is total overall points using a large amount of categories.

Year To Date McLouth is averaging 3.32 points per game (anything over 3 is awesome). YTD Cuddyer is averaging 2.78ppg. However, over the past month Cuddyer is avg 3.23ppg and McLouth is avg 3.19ppg. I am concerned that I am swapping the same OF but also giving up a draft pick.

Based off additional numbers ran, Cuddyer is over achieving his projections by a lot and McLouth is over achieving by just a hair. With all this said and that McLouth is not in ATL, is McLouth a better 2nd half guy and will he give me the numbers I need to make a real push?

Thanks. WHIR.

It's not bad, but your offense looks good. I might consider trying to upgrade your number 3 or 4 SP to a number 2 or better ... more pitching never hurts.

Completely agree with sig. When I read the initial post, I thought it sounded good. But as much as I am a fan of Wandy and Duke, I don't know that I would depend on them to sustain a push into 3rd place.
