he has worked his avg. all the way back to about .270 and it keeps improving. he has a hit in 6 of his last 7 games including 2 multi-hit games. he is starting to show that power stroke we've all heard so much about. not just with his few HR's, but also hitting a lot of hard line drives. he's walking a bit more.. and striking out less.
it looks like he is finding a groove and I say expect huge things in the 2nd half.
funny that no one even comments on this.. but I guess thats just the cafe's mentality. everyone is way quick to jump on the hype train, but in the end no one really cares where its going..

I'll agree on Homer Bailey. He added a nasty splitter to go along with the 97 MPH heat and was unhittable in AAA during June. Since being called up, he has looked great. Could be another case of a pitcher with great stuff adding one critical secondary pitch and it making the world of a difference!
