Who do you like for the rest of the year???
Even for beyond? I have Beltran, Holliday, and Braun in OF. Chance to get Hamilton, but Beltran will likely have to go?
Thoughts? Who has edge?
Leave a link as I will reply.

That's an insanely stacked OF for a 14-team league. SURELY there must be someone else you can drop.

Honestly I'd rather have Hamilton even though he has been banged up all year. I like him more for this year and definitely for beyond (4 years younger)
Here's why:
The new Citi Field has zapped the power strokes from many players. It plays big and Texas doesn't, plus the Texas line up is much better at scoring runs than the Mets. I don't like the way the Mets are going and that hurts Beltran's numbers. So if you could move Hamilton for Beltran I'd do it.
help?

Hamilton.
Figure Beltran has a month and a half of quality baseball left before the season ends. He comes back around August. Even if he comes back at the start, I don't see him heating up right away. And even if he does, as stated, Citi Field has been sapping homers at an alarming rate.
Meanwhile, Hamilton's just gonna start raking all over again. Even if Beltran plays better the rest of the season, you're just gonna get more stats because Hamilton's getting a lot more playing time.

Gotta go with Hambone here for 4 reasons
1. He plays in Texas
2. He's younger
3. We've seen Beltran's ceiling
4. Beltran could be out until August
Thanks for the help!!

I agree that hamilton has more upside (with his youth) and Beltran has more downside (with recent injury). You also can't over estimate the impact of Beltran playing in the new pitcher friendly Citi field.
Help me out:
