Andruw Jones has done the impossible

Postby DSheppard » Wed Jul 08, 2009 11:32 pm

3 homeruns in his first 3 at bats tonight, lol.
.940 ops on the year, 14 HRs. Any thoughts? Relevant now?

edit: got under it in his 4th at bat.. 3 inches lower and its 4 heh. One more at bat coming for sure.

Definitely worth a roster spot in standard leagues and hitting clean up behind Hamilton in that lineup. I still wouldn't want him as an everyday outfielder but a great platoon option especially at home against lefties and average rightie SP.

I can't believe I just picked up Andruw "I swing and miss at that breaking ball outside every single time" Jones for $5.

With Davis going to the minors it looks like Andruw could be the every day DH, with Blalock at 1B.

I just picked him up too, his SLG is too enticing O:-)

Same here, although he's still available in one league and I just can't do it.

I snagged him with my revolving door roster spot, so it's no great loss if he isn't in vintage form for me.
Today he faces Felix though :-C , so I'll give him a mulligan on today's performance.
