I like Votto going forward a lot, but Morneau has been on a huge tear lately and he's been a studd all year basically. Crawford might be more highly thought of than Morneau. I think I'd be more inclined to keep Morneau, where as I think I'd trade Crawford if I did this deal. Who has more value right now? Going forward? Who do you prefer?

This is tough. I prefer Morneau overall but I think you need a guy like Crawford more. You could certainly use his speed and plug Votto into 1B and Loney into the UTI spot. I would do the trade for Crawford if I were you.
I'd keep morneau as he contributes in more cats than crawford. but the previous owner is right that you need someone with speed in the outfield. i'd try to sweeten the offer, or find a cheaper speed source.

That was my first inclination, to look elsewhere for speed. Crawford doesn't really compare to Morneau in the other cats, but altogether I thought he might have more value. Or at least his name would be worth more, if I'm going to deal anyway. Him or Beltran could be used to get me an ace.
Easy solution. Dump Stephen Drew at UTIL and pick up a speed player. Or see if you can't trade him for Figgins or someone like Ellsbury. Regardless, keep Morneau, he's a far better hitter than Crawford and you shouldn't over-pay for steals.

cheaper speed options to look at:
mike bourn(my favorite choice) denard span bonfacio(2B, 3B, SS eligible) alex rios nyjer morgan brett gardner/dexter fowler chris young(worth a stash to see if his bat comes alive)
I think you hang onto "More-Yes," and try to snag a Victorino for Kubel plus... Crawford is great but he has screwed me two years in a row when it counted most -- September -- thanks to injuries.
