Halladay trade help

Postby hstlives » Wed Jul 08, 2009 11:12 am

Standard 5x5 Yahoo rotisserie style league. I was offered Price and Halladay for my Zobrist, Gavin Floyd and Peavy. I like Halladay and I know Price has struggled, but I can probably bench him for awhile and wait. I have Tulo to replace Zobrist at SS and the rest of my starting pitching is: Shields, Hanson, Rickey Romero, Vasquez, and Edwin Jackson. Do I accept this trade assuming Peavy is out for an extended period of time still?

Non-keeper? Yes, because I have Peavy too and am unsure what his status will be. I think it is a sound move and Price may get it going at some point and Tulo is a nice replacement.

I say yes. Halladay is a stud and who knows what Peavy will do. Price is talented and can pick it up. I like Tulo over Zobrist from here on out anyway.

This is a public league, so no keepers.

What K's you lose from peavy you get back with Price, when you start him... Halladay monster wins, and low era, and some occasionaly high K/9. Tulo will be a great replacement for Zorilla. DO IT!
