Bruce for Overbay, simple question,,,,,,WHIR

Postby col24 » Tue Jul 07, 2009 10:16 pm

I am in first place, 1st in HRS, 1st in RBIs, but hurting in on base percentage.

I know 1 guy won't increase my on base that much, but Bruce is KILLING me.

Should I trade Bruce for Overbay????????????

Been shopping him for 2 weeks now, nobody is biting! Should I keep him or make this trade?????

Thanks, WHIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would not want to deal Bruce for Overbay, can you do a little better than Lyle? Can't sell high on Bruce as a young stud?

What type of league is it? How many teams?

Either way I wouldn't do this deal.

Help please

No way!!!!! The guy getting Bruce would be pulling off a buy low for a guy he picked off the FA pool probably.

I have Bruce in 2 H2H leagues that also count OPS, and I feel your pain, brother!

And as crappy and inconsistent as he's been ... you simply can't trade him for FA fodder. At least wait until after the All Star break, when he heats up again (it's bound to happen) and then trade him for a more reliable OBP or OPS guy.
