I've been offered Votto, Pence and Danks for my 4th round pick in next year's draft. It may sound like a no brainer, but not sure it is. First I'd have to figure out who to drop to make this happen, and second, since we only keep 2 players, the 4th round pick could be extremely valuable next year. I'm currently in a 3 way tie for 2nd place out of 14 teams. (Roster and league info below) If I made the deal, I'd probably be dropping Porcello and Podsednik, but not sure who the third would be. My other thought would be to counter with a 6th round pick for just Votto and Danks. What do you think? Looking to make something happen tonight, so thank you in advance for any and all advice!

Looks like you're goin for the champs this year...it would be a good idea to improve your team for this current year rather than banking on a 4th rounder for the future. I would take this trade and run. I think dropping Porcello, Pods and Happ is the no-brainer here. You're bats will be beefed now and you'll have another solid pitcher to plug in. Go with it.

Well not sure if you mean 4th overall pick (like 2nd round after the keepers are gone) or simply 4th pick (as in th round after keepers are gone). Either way, small difference considering the impact players you're getting.
I think Votto over Beckham is a Huge upgrade. Votto is a beast. Considering your OF, Pence is overkill. Danks is picthing great and I think will continue to have a nice second half and you can definitely use the depth = you really have no legit ace so he'll be a nice addition. Dropping Beckham or Cabrera and Porcello won't kill you. So yea, I'd try to offer a 6th for just Danks and Votto.
I agree with the last posts in that you should take the offer and worry about next year when the season is over. You should definitely set yourself apart from the teams you are tied with and possibly give yourself a chance at a title. If you end up winning the league this year, you won't regret it when you show up to the draft next year without a 4th round pick. Good luck the rest of the way and thanks for the help on my post.

Thanks for the feedback. To clearify, it's the 4th round pick after keepers (so essentially a 6th round pick). I'm leaning towards just going for it and then trying to turn around and package one of the OF with an SP for an ace.
