I'd say Derrik Lee for Gallardo or Nolasco.

I'd offer Rivera for Gallardo and expect to get rejected. Then I'd offer Rivera for Nolasco.

I like it, you are solid in the outfield and DH, this clears up a lot of roster space for you to grab either a streaming pitcher or another relief pitcher off the WW...
Wait wait wait, which Rivera? Do you mean Mariano or Juan Rivera? If it's Juan, I like the deal, if it's Mariano... I still kind of like it but less so of course, because Mariano is better and I think you could use some more trimming of your bats.
I like both Gallardo and Nolasco though for sure.
Help with mine?

It's Juan... and I'd have to drop someone to activate Ibanez anyways, so Smoltz is just a toss in.

I unfortunately think Smoltz may be a fizzle this year and I don't mind him being a toss in. Gallardo and Nolasco will help your team a ton, and you still have a decent spot start bat in ethier, especially if he picks it up with Manny back in the lineup to take some of the pressure off of him.
I don't think you lose a ton of batting power for the makeup of your team and you improve your rotation a bunch. Good trade in my opinion.

I like your proposal. You need pitching and your giving up a guy who you were doing without while sitting on the DL, a bench player, and Smoltz for two starters I think you need.
