Believe it or not, it's actually quite interesting, ask Mercer Boy. Armstrong is in second place after today's stage.

I believe the Tour is on Versus in the States and on OLN in Canada, every morning for the next 2 weeks or so.

I've been following le Tour since the mid-80s when Greg LeMond won three out of five. It's a good race and a great world event.


I have misgivings about Armstrong in this one. Something tells me he's not going to finish this year. I can't imagine him winning this thing, although he's just 1 second off the pace as I write this. We'll see if he still has it in the mountains.

My favorite cyclist of all time is Miguel Indurain. Good memories when he won five straight Tours in the early to mid 90's.

To be honest, I stopped watching when Lance Armstrong left it at seven straight, but I've regained interest again now that Armstrong is back. I'm also curious if the rules the mountains again as usual.

Indurain was great and a lot of fun to watch. The 90s were a lot of fun to watch, then on into this decade when Armstrong went on his run, but the last few years have been tough with the doping and Landis' disaster.

I was never a Lance Armstrong fan, but I think I will be pulling for him this year.

I hope he's in the lead going into the final stage, then just before the finish line he crashes and a bunch of steroids and stuff come flying out of his pockets.
