I proposed a trade of sending Billingsley/Ibanez/Mike Gonzalez for Johan/Ordonez/Joe Nathan
I figure Billingsley and Ibanez's best days are behind them, and Johan, Ordonez's best days are ahead. Am I offering too much? This trade is based off on a lot of assumptions on my part, rather then performance for the season.

Why do you think Billingsley's best days are behind him? He is known for pitching his best after the all star break...
Now with Johan, there is no way that he keeps pitching this bad, he will get back to his old form.
I don't think Ibanez's best days are behind him either, I would say that for Magglio though. He hasn't shown one bit of evidence in breaking out of his season long slump. He's done.
It still is a pretty fair trade if you are in need of saves. Johan and Bills will pretty much be a wash and you win with Nathan and lose with Magglio.

I concur, Ordonez is essentially done. That said, I still think you win this trade even if Ordonez continues playing poorly.

Ordonez is done. Billingsley is a very solid incredibly ace. There's been studies into the #s and there's nothing to conclude that just because Ibanez is old that his start is an anamoly.
Withdraw it quick.
Thanks for the help on mine.
