Longoria/Cabrera for Chipper/Grandy?

Postby Wile E Coyote » Sun Jul 05, 2009 9:48 pm

He is offering his Scutaro/Chipper/Grandy

for my: Longoria & Asdrubal Cabrera

this looks like a good deal for me....with Kemp at CF, Grandy would be my UTIL player since Soriano is a bust lately

Scutaro could rotate thru my infield/bench and Chipper would be my 3B (with Peralta as a backup)

what do you think? please help

It's basically Granderson/Chipper for Longoria. I'd rather have Longoria.

Help with mine plz - viewtopic.php?t=392672

Unfortunaately Chipper is an injury risk. maybe you could pick up a backup 3b like Rolen or Casey McGhee (3B elegible) off the waivers as an insurance...but i don't like this deal

chipper will never have the ABs to be a superior player on any season. He will get 100 less Abs by the end of the year and put up similar numbers to people who have played all year. Chipper is only valuable in my opinion if you play in a H2h and have info on when he is playin or not. Longorio is a stud especially if you are in a keeper.
