Which 2B to trade?

Postby Zain1two3 » Sun Jul 05, 2009 9:19 pm

I have Aaron Hill (20 HRS, .300 AVG) Cano (hits behind A-Roid, 13HRS in Yankee Stadium, .300AVG) and McGhee (hits behind Braun and Fielder, and is on fire). Question is, which one do I get rid of? And for who? This is my team, I'm currently in last place in a H2H and i'm in desperate need for help. Is there an area which is looking glaringly weak in which I should trade one of my 2Bs for? Any help will be returned.

I don't think McGhee has any trade value yet. Honestly I think Cano and Hill are pretty comparable. I'd put out some feelers and trade whichever one will net you more (probably Cano).

Help with mine plz - viewtopic.php?t=392672

The Braves have been asking about the availability of Aaron Hill. I don't really see the Jays trading him, and even if it does happen I'm not convinced it really affects his value much. I prefer Hill though. He has improved in every aspect of his game in his brief major league career. He was criticized for his defensive play in 2006, and somehow managed to convert himself in to a gold glove caliber defender by 2007. He was told he would never hit for much power, but tripled his home run output in 2007.He also maintained a .290 batting average in 2006 and 2007. This season, he is on pace to top those numbers again. I think he's a top 5 at his position.

I have 2 initial comments:

#1 quentin and hamilton are coming back ....... tough luck but be patient - they will fill your need in OF

#2 i guess you only have 1 team for pitching?

but you are in last place - so if there is any way to improve your pitching, trade Aaron Hill for sure

I would also trade MAnny and Vernon Wells

I think you are low on speed and could use a bag swiper

go after jimmy rollins (you can still get him low for SS), bj upton, carl crawford (good luck)

help with mine please
