The way Halladay's pitching, you can get a lot more for him than Votto. The rest of the trade seems fairly even to me so it comes down to Halladay/Votto, in which case you lose out. Aim higher.

I wouldn't do it. I think you could get more for Halladay than Votto although he is good. I would try to shope Halladay around for a little bit of a higher talent than Votto and see what happens. As far as your other question, I think that Figgins and Price for Wandy, Santana and Downs is in your favor if you don't need the steals.

I agree with the above post. Halladay is worth more at this point than Votto. I'd ask for less bulk in return but another medium tier bat.
