Give up Gallardo to Land Wright? Plz Help. WHIR

10 team roto league. I'm in 2nd place overall, but dead last in batting avg, and strong in most of the pitching stats. Just receveived this trade offer. Thoughts?

I GIVE - Sizemore/Gallardo
I GET - Wright/Victorino

Keep in mind we keep our best three players each season. Right now my keepers would be Sizemore, Longoria and either A.Gonzalez, Greinke or Gallardo.

Also, if I make this trade I can probably 1) trade one of my OFs (or Chipper) for a SP (Vazquez, Chamberlain, Harang or Harden), and 2)Package Longoria and a Kubel/Ludwick type for Mi.Cabrera (which would improve my batting avg even more).

Well, I think the other guy Definitely needs gallardo a lot more than you need victorino. However, I think i'd rather have Wright as a keeper than Sizemore. That's just me, though. Getting Wright also gives you tons of 3rd base depth. Also, your staff is good. What other FA pitchers are out there?

I would do this, but it depends on how solid you think your pitching is without Gallardo in there.

Not much in the way of good starting pitchers on the wire. What if, after I made this trade, I was able to make the following trade -

GIVE - C.Jones, Pence, Adm.Jones, Dye or Choo
GET - Vazquez,Chamberlain, Harang or Harden

Would that make you feel better about me making the 1st trade. If yes, who would you offer (I'm thinking Chipper or Pence) and who would you target (I'm thinking Joba).

i vote no. you have a very good Of. and you don't want to give up pitching. you would be clouding your keeper status as far as 3rd go, cause longo and wright are auto keepers.

I could probably find a taker for Longoria and trade him for a M.Cabrera type, if that matters. In fact, I'm almost sure of it.

I say you are giving up too much. Gallardo and Sizemore are both on your short list of keepes. Wright would be on your short list too, but Victorino shouldn't be really. So you are giving up a lot of value, and Gallardo is worth more than Victorino, while Wright and Sizemore are pretty close.

1) Flipping an OF for Vazquez or Chamberlain to replace Gallardo?
and
2) Flipping Longoria for Mi.Cabrera so I have better keeper balance?
