What to expect out of Aram?

Postby Juhlz » Sun Jul 05, 2009 10:48 am

Just picked up Aram off of waivers...I know, how right? But anyway, I have Bedard coming off DL on Tuesday and need to decide who to drop. My decision comes down to Branyan, N. Cruz, or Aram...I have Votto and Reynolds at my corners. What to expect out of Aram? Dislocated shoulders don't heal fast. Branyan due for a slide? Cruz is solid and identical numbers to Branyan but steals bases. My league is daily 6x6...Thanks for your opinions...

god damn you are a lucky son of a gun...i've wasted a dl spot on him for two months now! I'd expect big things to be honest. His first rehab game went well, and apparently he's been taking care of himself while out. He had great numbers prior to going on the dl, and judging by his history, I'd expect nothing less.

yes, Branyan and Cruz would be the only ones I would consider dropping for ARam. My other offensive players that could be dropped I guess would be reynolds, Granderson, BJ Upton. My pitchers that could be considered would maybe be Danks or Jair Jurgens...

given Cruz's hot steaks and ability to run, I don't see him as being near as droppable as Branyan. I'd drop Russ (unless there is someone else that you didn't mention).

Are you crazy man? ARAM goes .300 30-100 every year as a 3B. And you want to keep Russell freakin' Branyan over him?? :-P

Is that Mookie Wilson? Drop Branyan, if nothing else A-Ram will provide gret trade value once he gets his timing down andthe slugs in Chicago start earning their paychecks. Could be a valuable asset for you down the stretch.
