Yeah, I don't think I will be catching the first two spots as I am about 20 points away. But, I can catch 3rd place and definitely get fourth place. Would trading for Cruz be that much of a downgrade from MCab that I would not be able to catch 3rd place? Danks has looked good and I think he is pretty on par with Shields at this point so I am not worried about that part of the trade.

I think Shields is going to have a good second half, and although I am not sure Cabrera is going to have as good a second half as last year, he is heating up also. I may be in the minority here, but I still am not sold on Cruz, although I do like Danks. The other deal I would not do at all. Bottom Line: although I am not familiar with keeper leagues other than in theory, I I think I would stay put.

Also, thanks for help on mine.

I think you'll be fine with Cruz instead of MCab. It's a great long-term move, and I don't think the falloff will be that great. Maybe 20-30 points of battings average, but also an extra 10 steals. The other stats should be close.

do the cruz/danks deal. danks has been coming into his own lately and cruz's production will most likely increase once Hamilton returns.

thanks for the help on mine.

if you have to trade mcab, then go for it. but personally you have the better sets of players.

I like the CRUZ deal also. BUT I would think that you should be able to get more for M-CAB and SHIELDS dont you think??? M-CAB is arguably the best 1B in the AL??? Might be better off splitting Cabrera and Shields in separate deals, to maximize your return......Just a thought??? ;-)

Opinions are kinda split on this one. Any more help would be appreciated from the Monday night crowd and Tuesday morning crowd. Thanks.
