Rank Lilly, Vazquez, Shields

Postby Knights » Sat Jul 04, 2009 12:10 pm

I'm looking for some help in ranking Ted Lilly, Javier Vazquez, and James Shields for the remainded of this season only.

I've looked at their stats for the past few years and they're all pretty similar in terms of reliability, Ks, second half splits, etc.

How would you rank the 3 of this for this season?

It is very close like you said but I think Vazquez is slightly ahead of the other two. If only Vazquez could get some wins.

Vazquez
Shields
Lilly

Vazquez

Lilly/Shields

I like Vazquez the most. I like both Lilly and Shields, but I'd have to say it's a toss-up between the two. Lilly has been pitching great, but I think he'll normalize a little. Yeah, I can't really pick one over the other.
