INF Andy Marte will be recalled from Class AAA Columbus Tuesday, according to GM Mark Shapiro. Marte, who was hitting .327 with 18 home runs and 66 RBI at Columbus, will get most of his playing time at first base.

Marte was called up by the Indians after Ryan Garko was traded to San Francisco, ESPN reports. He'll most play first base, GM Mark Shapiro told the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Recommendation: The Indians don't have much to lose by giving Marte another trial in the big leagues. It wouldn't be a surprise if he got steady playing time.
