5x5 dynasty league 16 team h2h.
offer is: his hanley for my arod and jeter
arod is my util (have longoria at 3b), and i would likely use a combo of either butler/rowand/hideki matsui at util to replace him(currently my bench)
currently in 3rd place, short term, i think its a small downgrade...but long term a win...
should i pull the trigger?
whir

How many keepers? Short term I don't like it at all. It also seems like you're overpaying for long-term gains, but again, that depends on how many keepers you get.

in a dynasty...this is an easy yes. Like you mention yourself, this year it might be a slight downgrade, but for the future this is huge.

I'm not sure it's even that much of a downgrade this year, and I like the idea of rotating in the hot hitter at Utility. I would definitely do it.
And thanks for help on mine.

well, since it is a keeper ... I think I'd go through with it. Hanley is a Great Keeper, especially with his age compared to A - Rods.

Thanks to SmooveThug for the Sigs!

I'd do it. A-Rod's injury (and slow start) has to give some cause for concern. Hanley's younger and apporaching his prime. Including Jeter wouldn't be a dealbreaker either. He's having a nice season, which probably has more to do with the new ballpark then anything he's done, but he's been on the declien for several years.

try to sub longoria into the trade first and see if he'll do it. if he won't, i would do the arod deal.

i like this trade for you. very rare talent hanley ramirez is. hopefully they do not change his position or you will be ripped off! but if he ticks at SS i love this trade for you.
