So check this out: my dad (a New York transplant) wants to watch Yankees games, but we live in Rhode Island. He has Direct TV (despite me trying to tell him it sucked), and found a package in which you could order the YES network (along with other local FSN channels) for $10 a month.
I go over the house at 12:30, and YES is on showing the pregame. Good stuff, right? Well at 1:00, the channel cuts out and a message appears on the screen that the channel is not purchased.
Am I to believe that Direct TV blocks games on certain channels so you have to order Extra Innings?
