I have two offers on the table:
1. Aramis for Ibanez straight up
2. Aramis/Hanson/Reimold for Ibanez/J. Shields(Or Jered Weaver)
Thoughts?
What trade 2 accomplishes is:
Shields in as number 5 starter instead of Slowey
Youk becomes my 3B instead of UTIL
Ibanez goes into my OF (with Sori/Kubel, Quentin when hes back)
Branyan remains in the lineup at UTIL (instead of benching for Aramis)
I add Scott Downs as another closer for when hes back (Qualls has been a major issue of late)
I've been looking to replace Slowey with a better 5 starter for a while and feel like this might be it, Hanson is essentially a spare part at the moment but I'm not sure how much I want to trade Reimold.

I like the second one better, although I would probably do the first one also. I am acquiring Aramis in one of my trades out of necessity. Who knows if his power will be there when he comes back. Ibanez will slow down a little but will still be great. J. Shields is a good pitcher. Id take him over Weaver.

I like trade one the best. I like Hanson a lot personally. I'd take either trade especially with how uncertain aramis ramirez will be and I think raul will be back to hit like crazy again.

I'll have a #2 with Shields on the side. Hanson and Reimold are quality rookies, with the important word being "rookies". They'll be streaky and they'll probably slump. Best to go with a veteran like Shields.

i like the first trade, you have depth at 3B so trading aramis is fine. the thing about the second trade is that hanson is > shields. so you are losing out there.
