Add Gordon Beckham??? WHIR

I want to add Gordon Beckham [(SS,3B) eligibility in my league].....as insurance for Tulo and a backup on off days for Wright and Tulo. (it's a daily changes league)

Who can i drop to add him? Adam Jones? someone else?

i've tried trading...NO LUCK. No one in my league seems to be believers in Adam Jones. I also recently acquired Jay Bruce to add a potent bat in my outfield.

It's really tough ... I would say Adam Jones given you just got Bruce. I too have Beckham and hope he maintains this awesome hot streak.

I don't gethow he can be ss elilegible when he has only played 23 games and all at third base. None at any other position.Do minor league stats count?

All players are eligible at their primary position, and Beckham's is SS.

Every league can change their own settings...my response was meant for the norm. And it seems Beckham is SS, 3B in the standard Yahoo, CBS, and ESPN leagues. I was simply explaining why he is eligible at SS.

if i was going to drop anyone, i'd be jp howell. i wouldnt drop any of your offensive guys for beckham. definitely not jones. in a 10 team nonkeeper a guy like beckham isnt a must grab...there are probably comparable guys on the FA.
