Voting ends tonight and teams are announced Sunday.
I'm really curious about how some things are going to turn out.

NL 1B: Pujols, Gonzalez and Fielder are all in the NL top 5 for HR and OPS. Plus I have to figure Howard is going since Manuel is the manager.

AL 1B: Youk and Tex have been flip flopping from 1st to 2nd in the votes. Chances are both are going but what does that mean for M-Cab, Mourneau, Pena and Branyan?

AL 2B: Kinsler, Hill and Cano are all having great seasons but Pedroia might be voted in.

If Ryan Howard makes the all star game over any of those guys I'll be pretty pissed. He really isn't in the same league as any of them this season with an OPS under .900.

This is, of course, presuming that the All-Star Game is designed for players who have had the best April/May/June of this season, which is debatable. We should start a thread about this...

Well, it isn't like Gonzalez and Fielder came out of nowhere. They both have a pretty good track record.
But there is no way I see Ryan Howard being left off the All-Star team. Manuel is his manager and he is from St. Louis. 4 1B would not shock me.

The really sad part is that he isn't the only Rockie so they didn't have to take him.
