Kurt Suzuki

This isn't a question, per se, I just thought it was worth starting a discussion about Kurt Suzuki because he's 22 percent owned in ESPN leagues and I assume similarly owned in other leagues. Well, maybe it is a question. What I'm wondering is: Why?

Obviously I wouldn't recommend Suzuki over Mauer or something like that, but check out Suzuki against Russell Martin, for example:

Suzuki .279, 34R, 5HR, 31RBI, 4SB
Martin .246, 30R, 1HR, 21RBI, 7SB

Again, I can understand not dropping someone like Martin for Suzuki, but with a lower-end catcher, why not at least platoon Suzuki based on pitching matchups?

Martin is living off his reputation. Suzuk is only 39% owned in Yahoo. I can see where he might be on the waiver wire in a one catcher league but anything bigger I don't see how he is available.
