Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

I've got a nice OF situation with Manny coming back to join Justin Upton, Dye, Soriano, and Matt Kemp. My pitching is nice with Lincecum, Josh Johnson, and Greinke at the top of the rotation.
I've got a chance to acquire Halladay for Kemp and Oswalt. Is that too much for Halladay? My thinking is that once Manny comes back, I'll use him, Dye, and Upton in the OF anyway, with Soriano on the bench. Am I good here?

Don't you have a UTIL Spot? Are you going to have to put Soriano and Kemp on the bench if you don't do this deal?

I do have a UTIL spot. Right now Youk is there with Adrian Gonzalez at 1B and Arod at 3B. One thing holding me back from making this deal is that Adrian may have tweaked a knee last night. If he is hurt, Kemp would be my UTIL. If he's ok, then I can stand the hit.

Def is a bit too much, especially considering Oswalt usually gets better as the season rolls on; i would either stick with what you have or try and get a second player in the deal.
thanks for the help on mine

This is a tough one... maybe see how healthy Adrian Gonzalez is and then go from there. I'm not a big Oswalt fan, but his name should be able to pull you in a lot. See if you can do a deal of Kemp and a lesser-named pitcher for Halladay, and then trade Oswalt in a separate deal for another solid pitcher

I think its a little too much. I also think your SPs are fine with those big 3 rounding off your staff. Stand pat.

I agree with the majority; that's a bit much to give up even for a pitcher as good as Halladay.

I think that's a bit too much, yes. I'd rather just stick with what you have. You're fine, no need to give up too much for Halladay.
