Pirates are basically just dumping salary. Lastings Milledge is a cheaper option for them than Morgan. I think Milledge is younger too. Maybe I'm mistaken but that's the only way I can rationalize what they're doing. Consider the Pirates had Jason Bay, McClouth, and Xavier Nady in their outfield a few years back. If the Pirates want to contend at some point they have to open up their wallets and keep their talent!
Roto WorldNyjer Morgan finished 3-for-5 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored Sunday to lead the Nationals over the Braves 5-3.
Morgan hadn't tallied a hit since swinging over to Washington in last week's trade. He caught fire this afternoon, knocking two doubles and a singled while upping his season-long RBI total to 28. He also has 20 stolen bases and is providing the Nationals with a sure-handed center field. We didn't like the trade, but Morgan should still have value in NL-only leagues.

Washington has a pretty decent offense and i'm sure he'll lead off for them and have the likes of zimmerman and dunn to drive him in instead of freddy sanchez and the larouche's ... in real baseball terms i have no idea what the F the Pirates are doing... that trade makes absolutely no sense for the pirates...
