Two things: First, it's not like I just gave them away. For Kinsler I got Pedroia and Lester. For Miggy I got Lincecum and Aramis Ramirez. For Hamilton (plus Danks and Wainwright) I got Felix and Broxton. As you can tell I've been moving to get pitchers. My lineup, despite losing those three, is still very, very good--I have Sizemore, Howard, Reynolds, Upton, DeRosa, Pedroia, Manny, etc. So I'll still win the offensive categories most weeks. But now, with the newly acquired pitching talent, I have a ridiculous rotation (Lincecum, Hamels, Lester, J. Johnson, Felix, with Soria and Broxton as closers) that just won't be touched, period. Those are five top-15 starters, with the best closer and another top-6-7 guy.
Second, I absolutely knew going into this year that, barring a disaster, I'd be keeping Wieters and Upton. Upton has shown already why I have that confidence in him, and Wieters will soon be there. Add in Sizemore, who I love, and guys like Lincecum, Howard, Manny, Pedroia, etc, etc...I still have some great keeper options and will be able to trade some of the surplus in the offseason for upgrades and/or draft picks.
