We did and automatic draft and I ended up with a great outfield that will force me to bench at least one All-Star. But obviously I paid for it in other spots. And I hate Barry Bonds so I'm very willing to trade him.
Let me know what you think and who I could trade. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

I would try to get a better catcher. See if you can trade Barry for a better catcher and a better 3B. I don't think that Batista will have many saves. I have him on my team and I'm trying to trade for a more reliable reliever.

Here is my input--hold on to Bonds...trading him for a catcher is pointless. Even if you got Piazza (read: injury waiting to happen, Pudge, or Posada), neither would make up for the production you lose from ditching Bonds (not a big fan, but high AVG, HRs, RBIs). LeCroy is a top 6-7 catcher.
I would focus on improving at 1B, where Millar is average at best for a high production position. Also, Polanco is OK, but not great. Look for another 2B who can help you excel in one category (SB, for instance). Speaking of SB, Furcal is your only real hope, and I like him. At 3B, look and see if you can grab someone like Dmitri Young, or trade for him (flies under radar screens, but hit 29HR with 85RBIs and .297BA). Your OF is very good..get rid of Bernie...wont be effective this yr.
As for pitching, Pettitte, Nomo, Brown, and Padilla are solid, and Willis and Batista are good. I would see if you can trade Willis for a good 1B 2B or 3B, since I think batters figured him out nd part of last yr (see his 2nd half stats). I traded Willis and Jorge Julio for Sexson in my league. Percival is a stud, and Rhodes will do well (those are my RP).
I'm kinda worried about SB's too. It was auto-draft so I didn't really address it well.
I'm starting to think that hanging on to Bonds might not be such a bad idea. He was my first pick and unless I can get 2 studs in positions I'm struggling at I might be better off to hang on to him and start Bonds, Sosa, Wells everyday (not bad!). I only really need one back up outfielder, so should I hang on to Tori Hunter, Bernie Williams or Melvin Mora (he came on strong last year)?
Think I should try to package an outfielder with Willis or David Wells?
Help from anyone would be appreciated!
Thanks
