1. Is your team performing as expected?
No, not at all. A rash of injuries really set me back - when Youk, Reyes, Votto, Lackey (4 out of my first 7 picks) went down, I was a sitting duck. The good thing, though, is that after going 3-19 the first two weeks, I've been 60-53 since. If I would have started on that pace, I'd be in the playoffs at the moment. When Reyes gets back (hopefully at 100%), I think I'll be in better shape.
2. What are your needs?
A power bat. It may look like I need a lot of pitching help looking at my head-to-head stats, but some of that is skewed by me starting Wang and Nolasco every time up early on.
That makes 11 at the moment, but hopefully things play themselves out at the end of the year and things are more apparent.
5. Surprise team so far?
Aussie, it has to be you. Looking at your offense, other than Miggy, Kemp, and maybe VMart, I don't see one name that I really like. But stats don't lie, you deserve where you're at.
6. Your pick to win?
I really like the Commish's team at this point.
7. Your pick for the wooden spoon?
I have no idea what that means. Quit using your southern hemisphere lingo.
8. What is your favourite soft drink?
We spell favorite without a "u." But I've been on a Hawwaiin Punch kick lately, but if we're talking carbonated drinks, I'll go with good 'ole Wild Cherry Pepsi.
Yes and no. I was quietly confident that I was a top 4 team, but it was my hitting that I thought would be carrying me. Instead, my pitching has been fantabulous and I've been scrambling for live hitters. Also I thought I'd annihilate everyone in SB if everything went to plan, and some of my better projected SB guys aren't on the team anymore.
2. What are your needs?
I need one more hitter. I feel I am one short at the moment.
3. Who are you willing to trade?
Everyone except M-Cab and Lincecum. I'd like to trade pitching for hitting.
1. Is your team performing as expected? I thought I'd be doing a little better, but I'm still in the mix of top teams.
2. What are your needs? SBs and AVG on offense...I've gotten a bit unlucky with Ws so far, but I like my pitching overall.
3. Who are you willing to trade? I don't know...anyone as long as I feel like my team improves.
4. Potential keepers at this point? Howard, Longoria, N. Cruz, D. Lee, S. Drew, Hawpe, Ludwick, CC, Peavy, C. Lee...very possibly replacing a bat for one of the following (Liriano/Wandy/Bailey/Francisco).
5. Surprise team so far? Redeem Team/Bobbing...I didn't expect his team to be this good.
6. Your pick to win? Myself or Green Rebels
7. Your pick for the wooden spoon? Around the Horn
After dealing with the slow starts (Upton, Tulo, Figgins, Taveras, etc.) and injuries (Vlad, Ervin, Carpenter, Kuroda) and things not going as planned (Morrow in the pen), it looks as if things have been falling back into place.
2. What are your needs?
Another power bat, preferably in the OF.
3. Who are you willing to trade?
Anyone is fair game but some will obviously be harder to part with than others.
4. Potential keepers at this point?
Dunn Figgins Phillips Tulo Braun BJ Vlad
Carpenter Gallardo Hanson
5. Surprise team so far?
Aussie. How the hell is he in 2nd?!?!
6. Your pick to win?
Snakes, lolz.
7. Your pick for the wooden spoon?
Around the Horn.
8. What is your favourite soft drink?
Gold Peak iced tea.
Hal·la·day, n. 1. every fifth day in Philadelphia. 2. a day of rest for the bullpen. 3. innings eater. 4. doc. 5. ace.
Wright has as many homers as Placido Polanco. Kazmir completely imploded. Peralta is completely irrelevant. Quentin and Delgado haven't played.
No sounds like the right answer here.
2. What are your needs?
My top 4 power hitters are Morneau, Wright, Delgado, and Quentin. Two haven't played, one has been irrelevant in this category. Power would be quite welcome, Branyan can't carry me by himself here. Pat the Bat could also do his job there also.
3. Who are you willing to trade?
Juan Pierre now that Manny is back. Pat Burrell because I shouldn't own him anyway, it's bad karma.
4. Potential keepers at this point?
Wright Quentin Morneau Granderson Soto
Halladay Kershaw Broxton
Some combination of Branyan/Delgado/Cordero/McCutchen?
5. Surprise team so far?
Aussie, being beaten by a guy who'd keep Ryan Theriot is killer.
6. Your pick to win?
Me obviously.
7. Your pick for the wooden spoon?
Around the Horn like I said in March.
8. What is your favorite soft drink?
Coke Cherry Zero. I get to be a kid with the cherry coke and an adult with the zero calories, obviously ftw x2.

1. Is your team performing as expected?
No. I was expecting to be in the middle of the pack at this point but I have been the recipient of a lot of breaks (namely no injuries and some unheralded performances).
2. What are your needs?
Speed. It is depressing every week to see my low SB totals. Hoping that Morgan can buck that trend.
3. Who are you willing to trade?
Anyone is available but in no particular order: Michael Young David DeJesus Cole Hamels Yunel Escobar
4. Potential keepers at this point?
5. Surprise team so far?
Aussie and Redeem Team. Well done so far.
6. Your pick to win?
Snakes. (Can you at least get some pts this wk?) Really, Fezzik. If Peavy rounds out into form, he should be fine.
1. Is your team performing as expected? I think performing as expected would be a severe understatement. My hitting has been absolutely sensational. My pitching has been pretty horrible but I've managed a lot of fluky wins coupled with some very lucky streaming early on. Hopefully my pitching will become more stable.
2. What are your needs? Right now I'm still not sold on my pitching. I've been riding a bunch of WW scrubs for what seems like ever. Bills still isn't the ace I would like and Vazquez still scares me bit. If I can lock down 1 or 2 more solid #2 or 3 SPs I'd be happy.
3. Who are you willing to trade? Lots of IFs right now. Zimmerman, Bartlett, Tejada, Stewart, McGehee, Loney. That is, if the price is right.
4. Potential keepers at this point? With the exception of Tejada, Church, every one of my hitters. Bills, Jimenez, Hughes and Baker at SP.
5. Surprise team so far? Of course I knew I would be doing this well Skipping my own team, I'd say the bottom 3 teams are all not where I expected them to be.
6. Your pick to win? Tough to say. I honestly don't like any of the top 4 teams except maybe me . Gonna be someone moving up in the second half.
7. Your pick for the wooden spoon? Snakes team has too many injuries to finish last. Maybe Around the Horn, I don't like his pitching.
8. What is your favourite soft drink? Dr. Pepper. Obviously.
