sorry i couldn't respond sooner. probably too late to use your waiver, but looking at your lineup i would say do it. you don't really have any gaping holes in your lineup and you have enough OF depth to make pierre expendable-especially with manny coming back.

For what it's worth, I gambled and won. I didn't use my waiver, but the morning Harang hit the FA list I picked him up and dumped Pierre. Thanks to all who weighed in. ;-D

I guess the implication is that it isn't competitive, which in my perspective it is....especially since there is a substantial amount of money on the line. I do think I got lucky, and I don't think he should have cleared, but I'll take what I can get. :-)

i'm not being sarcastic. you're pretty lucky to have someone like that fall to you in a 12 team league.

I'm surprised. Standard rosters? I haven't been in an 8 team league in a while, but with standard rosters I can't see myself carrying Harang. I'd imagine there would be some better names on the FA list. But I guess that leads me to the reason I gambled and didn't use my # 1 waiver - I've never been a fan of Harang. I think he's been overused in the past few years, and I think his season (and career) could go either way. I do think he's worth at least holding and using in the right situation in a 12 team league, however.

there are a few guys on WW that are better such as nolasco, floyd, and millwood. i would love to be able to pick up these guys but none of these are really any better than my current starters. i may end up dropping weaver if he continues his downward slide, but he would be the only one that i could really drop.
