borbon is in the starting lineup tonight (6/29) for Texas as the DH. he is not on anyone's top prospect lists but he has put up great speed numbers in the minors (54 last year, 19 this year) along with a good avg (.321 last year, .298 this year). He has been on the 40-man roster all year so a move is not necessary to keep him up with the big club...anyone think he will stick for awhile and get playing time or is this a short term gig?

also i have the #4 waiver in my dynasty league but i was planning on holding that waiver for justin smoak (yahoo league so neither are in the database). anyone think i should use the waiver on borbon or should i hold out for smoak? i have great power and need a speed man.

i don't think borbon will be up long, hamilton will be coming back and borbon is very young. I would hold out for smoak who is a more complete hitter and has an outside shot of being a contributor in texas this summer
