i realize you have a crowded OF, but i just think you can get better value than edwin jackson (though he has pitched well, he's not proven)....i'd maybe aim for Javier Vazquez type pitcher

What leagues are you in that you can land Vazquez for Ethier?!?

Edwin's been solid, if you need a SP, make the trade. Ethier's not without his streaks. I own both, and I value Edwin a tad higher.

i said 'aim', it was just my opinion. if i was vazquez owner and had a decent staff i could let him go for ethier. the guy put up some nice numbers with manny in the lineup

i would do that trade, you have plenty of OF.

I'd consider getting Vazquez for Either a coup, and consider getting Edwin Jackson an undersell. "Dude just hit 3 HR in a game, and he's only going to get better with Manny coming back," is the angle I would approach trades if I were an Ethier owner. I wouldn't trade him for Jackson, would be ecstatic to get Vazquez, and would settle for something in the middle.
