So what you're saying is... they are the Pirates, and that is the type of thing they do.

How is this a huge boost? The change of scenery might help his depression, but a move from the NL to the AL and onto a team with similar poor run support as the Pirates? I'm not buying it until I see it. (and then, of course I'll run out and claim him)

I think they meant it's a huge boost to his value going from AAA to the Mariners ... hahaha. I'll be interested to see what this does for Clement, who appears to be a AAAA player.

Why on earth would the Pirates trade for Clement when they have Doumit?

They plan on playing Clement at 1st base

I think if Snell is lucky he is 4 starter at best but more likely a 5 starter or swingman in his career
